Chisinau Municipality represented at the 6th UNESCO International Conference of Learning Cities
Chisinau City Hall informs that on Friday, on International Chefs Day, 300 chefs working in general education institutions in the capital were invited to the festive setting.
The 30 best employees in this field received honorary diplomas from the Chisinau City Hall, and another 270 received diplomas from the General Department of Education, Youth and Sport.
The rest of the employees involved in the alimentation process of the students in general education institutions received diplomas from sectoral departments.
Deputy Mayor Ilie Ceban congratulated the cooks present in the hall on the occasion of their professional day and thanked them for their dedication, diligence and professionalism, which they demonstrate every day, so that our students receive the food they need to grow up healthy and strong.
The day’s celebrants were treated with musical surprises from beloved performers and a musical recital prepared by students, all dedicated to those who make our lives full of flavour.
Chef’s Day marks an international tradition for almost 20 years and it aims to recognise the professionalism of this category of employees and bring them the appreciation they deserve from the community.
