Chisinau Municipality represented at the 6th UNESCO International Conference of Learning Cities
The Chisinau City Hall informs that a group of specialists from the municipality, led by the Deputy Mayor of the capital, Angela Cutasevici, are currently on a working visit to Copenhagen, Denmark, from February 24th to 28th.
The purpose of this visit is to study how juvenile crime prevention is organized in Denmark, focusing on an interdisciplinary collaboration formalized between authorities and organizations working with vulnerable children and their families. In the Danish system, this model is known as SSP - collaboration between the educational sector, social authorities, police, and relevant civil society organizations.
"The working visit provides a unique opportunity to learn from the experience and practices in Denmark, where juvenile crime prevention and intervention are approached in an integrated and coherent manner. This way, we have the opportunity to interact directly with experts in the field, visit institutions, discuss relevant projects, and identify best practices that can be adapted and implemented in Chisinau," stated Vice Mayor Angela Cutasevici.
It is worth noting that representatives from the Ministry of Justice, the Department of Child and Family Protection Policies, the Ministry of Education and Research, and the Moldovan Football Federation are also part of the working group visiting Copenhagen, Denmark.
