The administration of Chisinau Municipality laid flowers at the ,,Train of grief” monument, in the square of the Chisinau Railway Station on Saturday, on the occasion of 75 years from the biggest wave of Stalinist deportations, to which our population was disposed on the night between 6 and 7 July, 1949.

The commemorative meeting began with a moment of silence in memory of victims of repression. Afterwards, the participants of the manifestation including former deportees and their relatives, as well as ordinary citizens paid tribute to those who suffered due to the repressions.
