The Chisinau Municipality was represented at the World Urban Forum held in Cairo, Egypt
Chisinau City Hall informs that 857 children from kindergarten No. 225 "Spicușor" of Ciocana District will benefit for better conditions to play and recreate. Thus, the rehabilitation of the court will take place within the framework of the renovation project of the pavement within the territory of the preschool institution.
The project is part of the "KUSANONE" Human Security Grant Program, funded by the Japanese Embassy in Republic of Moldova, which has the main purpose to influence people's welfare.
The kindergarten submitted the funding file in March 2020, and the general objectives of the project are: rehabilitation and modernization of the kindergarten infrastructure and playground planning.
In this context, the General Mayor, Ion Ceban, had a discussion with H.E. Mr. Katayama Yoshihiro, Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Moldova, whom he thanked for the cooperation and support from his country, for the financial assistance provided to municipal public institutions.
It should be mentioned that the kindergarten is included in the list of institutions that will be thermally rehabilitated within the Project "Energy Efficiency and Thermal Rehabilitation of Buildings in Chisinau", with the support of the EBRD.
The first tranche of the project involves the thermal insulation of 23 buildings - public institutions: kindergartens, high schools, sports schools and hospitals.
Kindergarten No.225 from Ciocana Disrict is the largest preschool institution in the country, in which operates 28 groups of children aged 2-7.
