The City Hall of Chisinau Municipality informs that the project for landscaping the Mezon square from 21Moscow blvd. , Rascani sector, is in the finalization stage.

The initiative consists in the rehabilitation of green spaces and pedestrian alleys, the installation of public lighting and urban furniture. There is also a children's playground and a fitness center in the area.

At present, the works regarding the arrangement of the public reference space are carried out in a volume of 90%, the green areas being arranged in the landscape; the 4 pedestrian alleys were paved (on an area of ​​about 4000 square meters), the public pedestrian lighting is functional, banks and trash cans were installed. Also, the playground for children and the sports (fitness) were also installed.

Currently, in the Mezon square are conducted the last improvements regarding the arrangement of the public space.

It is worth mentioning that in 2019, 5 million lei per sector were planned for the execution of public space projects, and most of the works have already been completed.
