The Chisinau City Hall informes that on Thursday a new block for studies was inaugurated at the ”Hyperion” Theoretical High School in the city of Durlesti.

It has 3 floors and includes 6 classrooms, a gym with changing rooms and toilets, but also two workshops for organizing technological education classes.

The opening of the new block will allow the educational procees to be carried out in only one shift.

Present at the event, the General Mayor, Ion Ceban, mentioned that the newly inaugurated study block, with conditions for education according to European rigors, represents a model of educational space for the city of Durlesti, for the municipality of Chisinau, but also for the whole republic. ”Children must have good conditions in educational institutions, both in terms of sports and educational infrastructure, for multilateral development, and the municipality will continue to invest in children, so in the future”, said the mayor.

The construction of the block started in November 2021. The cost of the project is about 13 million MDL, of which 8.5 million were allocated from the sources of municipal budget, and the rest from the city budget.

At the ”Hyperions” Theoretical High School in Durlesti, more than 1600 students, distributed in 51 classes, who are guided by 67 teaching staff, study.
