Deputy Mayors Angela Cutasevici and Irina Gutnic had a meeting at the Chisinau City Hall with the Deputy Mayor of Grenoble - Emmanuel Carroz and the Director General for Service - Emmanuel Rouede.

Discussions between the parties focused on the current priorities of the city of Chisinau, as well as on ways to strengthen the bilateral partnership between the municipalities of Chisinau and Grenoble.

"We discussed key issues for the sustainable urban development of Chisinau, such as waste processing, street lighting, accessibility of public places for people with special needs, energy efficiency, as well as cultural and educational initiatives", said Angela Cutasevici.

According to Deputy Mayor Irina Gutnic, Grenoble's experience is valuable for Chisinau, and the twinning agreement signed between the two municipalities encourages the adoption and implementation of best practices for the constant development of the city.

Municipal officials invited the guests from Grenoble to the second edition of the Chisinau Economic Forum, scheduled for this autumn.
